Smith Square Partners served as sole financial advisor to CHM Research on its sale to Global Data

CM Research is an independent investment research firm based in London, providing thematic research on the technology, media and telecoms sector to blue-chip asset management clients. On Friday 26 January 2018, GlobalData Plc (“GlobalData”), the UK-headquartered global business information company, completed the acquisition of CHM Research Limited (“CM Research”).
The founder of CM Research in 2010, is one of the world’s leading technology analysts and will be joining GlobalData as Head of Investment Research.
