ATRIUM Partners advised the shareholders of KN Helicopters, a leading provider of heli-services to the offshore wind industry, in the sale to Avincis, a portfolio company of infrastructure fund Ancala. Avincis is one of the world’s leading emergency aerial service operators with a fleet of approx. 165 helicopters and 40 aeroplanes. Avincis operates from more than 180 bases spread over three continents from its headquarters in Portugal. The acquisition was funded by Ancala, a leading infrastructure manager, who invested in Avincis in 2023. Through the investment, Avincis enters the Danish market, while strengthening its
position in the offshore wind industry.
