Citroën Denmark distributes the Citroën and DS brands and is part of the PSA group, which develops and manufactures Peugeot, Citroën and DS vehicles. The divestment of the Danish activities is part of the PSA group’s strategy to focus its distribution activities and thereby engage with strong local partners in relation to the import in selected markets.ATRIUM advised the Interdan group in the acquisition of Citroën Denmark, which distributes the Citroën and DS brands, from the PSA group. The transaction was structured as a controlled auction with participation from a number of potential buyers. The selection of Interdan as future partner with the PSA group regarding Citroën and DS is based on a strong track record and an attractive plan for the continued strengthening of the Citroën and DS brands and commercialisation in the Danish market.
