KMD A/S, the Denmark-based company engaged in developing, operating and maintaining IT systems, and a portfolio company of Advent International Corporation, the US-based private equity firm, has acquired Banqsoft AS, the Norway-based company that develops, markets and implements financial services software, from Verdane Capital Advisors AS, the Norway-based private equity firm, for an undisclosed consideration.
In 2014, Banqsoft reported revenue of NOK 166m (EUR 19m) and employs 141 employees. This transaction will enhance and develop KMD’s business in Scandinavia region. KMD will also benefit by utilizing Banqsoft’s portfolio of products, partners, customers and its employees.
