Alpha Corporate Finance advises Aspelin Eiendom AS in partnering with Reitan Eiendom AS, forming one of the largest private real estate companies.

Aspelin Eiendom and Reitan Eiendom are merging their Oslo real estate portfolios to form Aspelin Reitan Eiendom, a company owned 50/50 by Artel Kapital (“Aspelin family”) and Reitan Eiendom. Aspelin Eiendom is a leading real estate developer focused on sustainable urban development. The company has been behind landmark projects such as Vulkan, Tjuvholmen, VIA, and Sommerro, and is currently developing Landbrukskvartalet, Spektrum, Lille Parkvei, and Campus Ullevål. Reitan Eiendom is part of the Reitan Group and operates across three main areas: city properties (Christiania Areal, VestenFjeldske, E. C. Dahls Eiendom), logistics and industrial real estate (RELOG), and retail properties (REBUS). The company manages more than 2 million square meters of real estate, with total assets of EUR 3.6 billion and annual rental income of EUR 180 million (2024). Aspelin Reitan Eiendom will have a total property value of around EUR 1.6 billion and manage ~565,000 square meters of highly attractive real estate, including landmark buildings such as VIA, Sommerro, and The Thief, alongside Reitan Eiendom’s properties in Christiania Areal. The company will continue to be a long-term and responsible urban developer, delivering sustainable growth and value creation in Oslo’s most central areas.
