Amara NZero is a Spain-based company engaged in B2B distribution of products and services with focus on the Energy Transition, serving the Renewables (Solar,Wind), Electrification (Smart grids) and Energy Transition Services (Logistics services) business segments.Cinven, the United Kingdom based private equity firm, has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Amara NZero from ProA Capital, the Spain-based private equity firm, and other minority shareholders. The terms of the deal were undisclosed.
The transaction provides an exit strategy for ProA Capital, that will retain a minority stake in the business to benefit from its strong growth prospects.
