Telefonica SA, the Spain based integrated operator in the telecommunication sector, providing communication, information and entertainment solutions has agreed to acquire Geprom. With this transaction, Telefónica Tech will strengthen the capabilities of its Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data division, and will enhance the company’s positioning in the key industrial sector.
AZ Capital advised Telefónica Tech on this acquisition. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
