SDM-Valorum advised the shareholders of Virtus (Infomat Holding) in the sale to Kerridge Commercial Systems

Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS), a leading provider of ERP software, services and support solutions for wholesale, distribution, rental and installation customers worldwide, has today announced its acquisition of Infomat. Infomat is a Benelux software vendor of an in-house developed ERP-system complemented with 3rd-party software. Core clients are Benelux SMEs active in B2B and B2C wholesale and distribution with separate verticals for hardware & tools, electrotechnical products and car parts, often complemented with repair services.
This transaction concerns the exit from a Smart Deal (dd. Oct 2016). With this transaction all Smart Deal investors (70%) and founders/management (30%) exited. SDM-Valorum advised all shareholders in this deal.

This is an important strategic acquisition for KCS in Benelux and a positive development for Infomat. The company will continue to maintain and support its existing software solutions and introduce the benefits of the KCS portfolio to better support its customer base. Ian Bendelow, CEO, Kerridge Commercial Systems, commented: “Our acquisition of Infomat marks a new and exciting phase for both companies. Infomat is now part of an internationally successful group which focuses on the global trading and distribution market. Bringing Infomat into the KCS Group will strengthen and deepen our presence in this sector in Belgium and The Netherlands. We believe our extensive range of complementary solutions will enable us to better serve existing customers in the long term, while offering a very attractive portfolio to new customers.”
