Alpha Corporate Finance has acted as financial advisor to Gronmyr Gruppen AS in the sale of Gnist Barnehager AS to Altor Equity Partners

Gronmyr Gruppen AS is a Norway-based pre-school chain.

Altor Equity Partners AB, Sweden-based private equity firm, has acquired a majority stake in Gnist Barnehager AS, a Norway-based pre-school chain, from Bjorn Gronmyr and Kjersti Gronmyr, the Norway -based private individuals, for an undisclosed consideration.
Altor has made the acquisition through its Altor Fund IV. Post-acquisition, Kjersti and Bjorn will retain a minority stake in the company. The transaction is subject to approval of regulatory authority and certaincustomary closing conditions.
Gnist Barnehager comprises of 17 preschools in western Norway. The company reported EBITDA of EUR 9.750mduring 2017 and has a workforce of 450 employees. Earlier in April 2018, Gnist Barnehager underwent an auction process.”
