Greenco is a Netherlands-based original producer and packer of snack vegetables. Greenco is well-known for its high quality snack tomatoes under the Tommies brand. Greenco has sold two of its greenhouses, both illuminated and located in Someren (The Netherlands), to Wim Peters Kwekerijen. Wim Peters Kwekerijen already had illuminated greenhouses adjacent to the Greenco greenhouses (Greenco Productions and Kwekerij de Driemaster). By acquiring the Greenco greenhouses, Wim Peters Kwekerijen has doubled its illuminated growing capacity in Someren.
With this transaction Greenco (famous for her high quality snack tomatoes under the Tommies brand) can refocus on her core business values of innovation, co-creation, partnerships and product leadership and can further expand her product portfolio with new premium snack tomatoes.
In September 2019, Rembrandt M&A had also advised Greenco on the sale of its illuminated greenhouse in Wieringermeer (The Netherlands) to Agro Care.
