SoFine is a manufacturer of soy based alternatives to meat. These meat alternatives are sold under both private label and Alpro brand at amongst others Albert Heijn, Jumbo and Aldi Belgium. Alpro sold his subsidiary SoFine Foods B.V. to SoGood Holding B.V., represented by Bart Merkus (CEO) en Jeroen Knikkink (CFO). Rembrandt Mergers & Acquisitions advised the seller in realizing the sale of his company. SoFine is a manufacture of soy based alternatives to meat. Bart Merkus started his career working at Heineken in the early nineties. Then he went on to become commercial director at Mars, general manager at Koninklijke Verkade, interim director of strategy and commerce at Westland Kaas Groep and general manager of The Greenery.
