KITAX Kft. distributes professional hygiene and cleaning products, consumables for the HoReCa sector, occupational health and safety equipment. The company has a diversified portfolio, including more than 10,000 products from more than 400 leading global suppliers, such as Kimberly Clark, Essity (Tork), Vileda Professional and Kärcher. KITAX Kft. reported revenues of EUR 10 million and EBITDA of EUR 2.1 million in 2023. The company boasts a state-of-the-art logistics infrastructure, including its own fleet and 3,000 sqm warehouse in Mosonmagyaróvár where 70% of the energy used is green.
The acquirer AQUILA operates in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, with an integrated business model and activity in the following business segments: distribution, logistics and transport. AQUILA sells consumer products in more than 72,000 outlets through all retail channels of consumer goods, covering more than 90% of the market. The company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange since 2021, when with an initial public offering worth EUR 75 million, they carried out largest initial public offering by a Romanian entrepreneurial company on the local capital market. AQUILA reported EUR 592 million revenue and EUR 35 million EBITDA in 2024.
