Stove Kraft is an Indian company that manufactures cooking appliances under Pigeon and Gilma brands. The company was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka. Among its cooking appliances are mixer grinders, pressure cookers, cooktops, toasters, chimneys and kitchen utensils.
Edelweiss Financial Services has successfully closed INR 4,126mn (c.US$ 52mn) Initial Public Offering (IPO) for Stove Kraft.
The deal saw participation from across categories of investors including marquee FII’s, mutual funds, insurance company and AIF’s. The deal was oversubscribed 16.8 times and represents the first IPO of a pure play kitchen appliances company.
