Founded in 1997, CNP Group is a leading manufacturer and distributor of generic medicines with a strong presence across Europe, in particular in Eastern and Northern Europe. A particular focus of the company, headquartered in Saarland, Germany, are highly regulated products for generic medicines. With its two production sites in Homburg and St. Ingbert-Rohrbach, the CNP Group offers large production capacity for sterile liquid and lyophilized injectable drugs.
DZ BANK AG advised the CNP Group, on the sale to capiton AG, the Germany-based private equity firm. Under the wings of the new owner, capiton AG, CNP Group will be able to strengthen and expand its market position in Europe as well as to expand and fully utilize their production sites.
