Colombo & Associati served as exclusive financial advisor to UnipolSai Assicurazioni, the insurance company of the UnipolGroup, the Italian leader in the Non-Life Business, in the acquisition of Società e Salute S.p.A., a company operating in the private healthcare sector under the brand “Centro Medico Santagostino” from investment fund L-GAM.
With its 34 branches, Centro Medico Santagostino is one of the leading operators in Lombardy, especially in the Milan area; the centres work with approximately 1,300 doctors and the business model aims to ensure a high-quality patient experience at affordable prices and with shorter waiting times, thanks in part to the technological innovation that is one of the standout features of the company. The acquisition, which falls within the Beyond Insurance Enrichment strategy of the Unipol Group 2022-2024 Industrial Plan (“Opening New Ways”), will add an important element to the welfare ecosystem of Unipol Group with respect to the development and direct management of a network of health centres.
