La.re.ter. is an historical Italian manufacturer of PVC pipes and PVC and polyethylene fittings for irrigation systems, conduits under pressure, water systems, sewers, artesian wells, drainage systems, swimming pools, cooling plants, geothermal plants, geotechnical applications, consolidations and tunnels. Lareter holds a management system certified for quality, environment and safety in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 9001, UNI EN ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (first Italian company producer of PVC pipes to obtain the certification) and exports its products to more than 50 countries worldwide. Founded 60 years ago and with a presence in Italy, France and Germany, La.re.ter. generates annual turnover of about €40 million. The company currently employs 80 people at its Fiesso Umbertiano plant, located in the Veneto, north of Italy.
Colombo & Associati advised Lioia and Di Penta families, shareholders of La.re.ter., in the disposal of the company to Aliaxis, the Belgian-based specialist in enabling access to water and energy through fluid management solutions. The transaction aims to consolidate Aliaxis’ leadership in the global market of hoses and fittings and in the access to water and energy through innovative solutions in liquid management.
