AZ Capital acted as exclusive financial advisor to Mutua Madrileña on the acquisition of a 30% stake in EDM Gestión.
Mutua Madrileña is a Spain-based company focused on providing insurance products and services. The Company has agreed to acquire a 30% in EDM Gestión, SA, SGIIC, a Spain-based company engaged in asset management, with more than €3.7Bn in assets under management and offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Luxembourg and Mexico city.
As per the terms agreed, Mutua will have the option to acquire an additional 21% by the end of 2019.
