Alpha Corporate Finance has acted as financial advisor to Nettpartner in the sale of VTE to Nortrafo

Nettpartner has signed an agreement to sell 100% of the shares in Vestfold Trafo Energi (VTE) to Nortrafo.
VTE specializes in transformer services, including maintenance, recycling, refurbishment, and sale or rental of distribution transformers. The Company is recognized for its reliable and efficient solutions, which have earned it a strong reputation in the sector.
Nortrafo is the largest independent producer of distribution transformers in the Norwegian market. The company is owned 70% by Salvesen & Thams and local partners, and 30% by management.

Nettpartner is a leading company within construction, operation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure for power supply, railways and transportation. The company’s headquarter is located in Lysaker, and the market area extends across Norway, with locations from Arendal in the south to Tromsø in the north. In 2023, the company had revenues of about NOK 1.1 bn. Nettpartner is owned 60% by Fredrikstad Energi and 40% by Å Energi.

For Nortrafo, the acquisition of VTE is a strategic move to enhance its capabilities in emergency preparedness, maintenance, and service of transformers. Furthermore, the acquisition supports Nortrafo’s goal of becoming the sustainability leader in the sector. For Nettpartner, the divestment of VTE enables the company to refine its strategic focus on construction, operation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure for power supply, railways and transportation.
