On the 12th of November, the shareholders of Sharp Reflections GmbH sold their shares in Sharp Reflections to CMG. Sharp Reflections has developed a unique software suite combining pre-stack visualization, processing and interpretation of full-survey seismic data. The software can handle the O&G industry’s largest and most advanced seismic data sets, which is why more and more users adopt the solution. Alpha Corporate Finance advises the shareholders, including Equinor Ventures, in Sharp Reflections Gmbh in the sale to Computer Modelling Group. The transaction is part of an ambitious plan to build a powerhouse in the sub-surface software space and will strengthen CMG’s customer offering.
